HANDS OFF PROTEST
Join the Livonia Democrats’ protest on April 5th from 10-11am at Main and Commercial Streets to say:
HANDS OFF Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Our Democracy and Constitution, etc. This is a nationwide protest. Anyone concerned about these and any other issues are welcome. Signs are available or bring your own.
Then the protest will move to Avon in front of Tops from 12-1.
We hope to see a lot of you there. Let’s make some noise!!

Please join us on 5 April, 10-11am, for a Hands Off Protest. We need a large crowd, so bring your neighbors, friends and family. Below is what to expect with the counter protesters.
After speaking with the State Police and sheriff, we are to call 911 if counter protesters (CP) are:
*blocking traffic
*driving slow to inhibit traffic flow
*any reckless driving, etc.
*any violence
He said they cannot just sit there, and they cannot show any favoritism.
In summary, we will have 3 people videotaping and have phones ready to dial 911.
We must:
*remain peaceful at all times
*not respond verbally or otherwise to the CPs. We will turn our backs to them as they pass by.
*not block sidewalks, pedestrians, or businesses.
Note that I called the local bakery, whose customers found it difficult to get to the store (no parking), and the owner was very appreciative and happy to have us return. I also called Wanda’s Restaurant because a waitress was heard saying that she had hoped we were all run over. Wanda was upset that had happened, would take care of it, and sincerely apologized.
Please support the local businesses before heading up to Avon’s protest from 12-1pm.

I’m calling to demand that the Senator/Congressmember call for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz to resign immediately due to their reckless and illegal disclosure of national security secrets.
Their actions have put our country at risk and immediate accountability is necessary. If they don’t resign, I am asking the Senator/Congressmember to call for their impeachment. I also want the Senator/Congressmember to demand hearings to establish what other operations may have been exposed, which U.S. servicemembers have been endangered, and what records may have been illegally destroyed.
I would like a response and will be following the Senator’s/Congressmember’s social media for a statement. Thanks.
